​学部生の方へ

  • 例年、年度末に研究室希望調査が行われますので、ご希望の方は長谷川研究室を第一志望で提出してください。​

  • 学部2年後期の計算機言語、3年後期の機械学習・多変量解析の受講を推奨します。

  • 例年、本研究室では大学院進学希望者が多いですが、必須ではありません。学部卒業後に就職する方や外部大学院を受験する方に対するサポートも充実しております。

修士課程の方へ

  • 長谷川研究室では大学内外問わず、修士課程学生としての配属希望者を受け入れています。

  • ご希望の方はまずはt-hase@u-fukui.ac.jpまでご連絡ください。

博士課程の方へ

  • ご希望の方はまずはt-hase@u-fukui.ac.jpまでご連絡ください。その際、自身の語学力や、過去の研究実績、配属後の研究計画を送付してください。その後、長谷川との面談を通して当研究室への所属可否を判断します。

  • 何れの場合も入学試験に合格する必要がありますので、入試情報をご確認ください。

  • 博士課程学生にはリサーチアシスタント制度があり、経済的なサポートが充実しています。

国外学生の方へ

  • ​長谷川研究室では国外学生の配属希望者を受け入れています。ご希望の方は入学希望の2年から1.5年前を目安に長谷川までご連絡ください。

  • 資料準備、資料添削、郵送、研究生申請などの手続きを経て、まず研究生として所属していただいた後に修士課程に入学できます。博士課程の場合は研究生を介さず、直接入学できます。

About the affiliation method

GPU WS

There is a GPU WS equipped with eight RTX A6000s, and a GPU-WS equipped with four RTX 4090s. It is used not only for deep learning technology development in the fisheries field, but also in various research such as generative AI.

GPUs

These GPUs shine brightly in the night (TITAN*2 equivalent, 2080Ti*2 equivalent (2 units), 4090 (4 units), 4080sup (1 unit), 4070Ti (2 units), 3090 (4 units), 2080Ti (4 units), etc.). When conducting research related to deep learning, GPUs can be used at any time, either individually or shared.

Cloud Computing

ABCIや幻界(九州大)、Tsubame(東工大)、MI駿河(静岡大)など多くのクラウドサービスを利用しています。H200やH100などを用いた大規模訓練も実施できます。

Fitbit Series

It is a smartwatch that can count steps and constantly measure heart rate (the number of such watches is increasing). It can be used at any time to recognize the user's state by constantly monitoring heart rate and acceleration, and to develop applications in conjunction with smartphones.

Xperia Touch

This is an ultra-short throw projector that supports tabletop projection and touch operation. It is mainly used in the NINJA Keyboard project, but can also be used for other application development.

Microsoft HoloLens 2

It is a head-mounted computer packed with cutting-edge XR technology. While viewing the real world through the glasses, it is possible to display various virtual objects and even manipulate them with bare hands.

Oculus Quest

This is a famous VR headset that is synonymous with VR-HMD. It is used in a VR learning support project together with a simple brainwave measurement (muse), but can also be used for other application development.

JINS MEME

These glasses (non-prescription) can measure EOG (electrooculography) and head movements (acceleration, gyro). They can be used to monitor and analyze eye and head movements in everyday life.

Android Smartphones

These are smartphones for development. Our laboratory frequently develops Android applications related to research. We sometimes undertake app development in collaborative research projects.

Treadmill

This is a walking and jogging machine. It will be used for experiments such as sensing walking movements and testing cognitive function while walking.

trampoline

This is a trampoline for home use. It is not for relieving lack of exercise, but for research into estimating movements on a trampoline.

Salivary amylase monitor

A stress check can be performed based on the amount of amylase in saliva.

My Beat

This is a device worn on the chest that can easily measure ECG (electrocardiogram).

Myo

This device is worn on the arm and can measure acceleration, gyro, and EMG (electromyography). You can operate a PC with arm and hand gestures.

  • We handle a wide range of research in information engineering, including mobile ubiquitous computing and interdisciplinary research using deep learning.

  • Yes, you can. If the topic is related to the field of our laboratory, we welcome it. If you do not have a research topic, we will suggest a topic for you.

  • If you are conducting research related to machine learning or deep learning, it is desirable to have knowledge of Python and related libraries. However, our laboratory will also provide thorough support in learning the languages you will need after you are assigned to the laboratory.

  • Depending on the research content, you will acquire basic knowledge and implementation skills about deep learning and sensing technology, as well as the ability to solve social issues. Of course, you will become the person with the most knowledge in Japan and the world about the research topic you have worked on.

  • We have secured GPU servers and cloud computing resources capable of training and inferencing large-scale models. In addition, students assigned to the program will be assigned personal GPUs such as RTX4090. For more information, please see here.

  • Basically, each person will be the representative of their own research theme. Depending on the research project, there may be cases where multiple people form a research team.

  • Yes. In the Hasegawa Laboratory, we strongly encourage presentations at academic conferences.
